Adaptation of a classic design by a renowned brand makes for a good choice of spiralizer!
This horizontal orientation spiralizer was designed in collaboration with vegan chef Attila Hildamann and is an adaptation of Lurch’s classic model.
This spiralizer is slightly smaller than others of its type making it a bit easier to store away when not in use. It also has the easiest handle to use out of all the models we tested and requires the least amount of horizontal pressure to feed the fruit or vegetable through the blade creating nice long ribbons and strips. It also has a good spiked plunger to hold vegetables in place when being processed. Good suction feet on the bottom of the spiralizer further add to the experience and reduce wobble to a minimum.
In our opinion all of these points make it one of the best spiralizers for a beginner with no previous experience in spiralizing.
This spiralizer comes with three good attachment blades that can be interchanged for different thicknesses of strips depending on your requirement. These attachment can also be conveniently stored in drawers in the base of the spiralizer – very, very convenient!
